Tex Murphy News Clippings
Hey guys, new member here. I've been a fan of Tex ever since the launch of Pandora and eagerly hope that we'll see him again someday.
I had these old news clippings in my digital collection and wanted to share them. Perhaps you've all seen them, perhaps not. They're somewhat interesting, I find. I've uploaded them to my web server.
Cordially yours,
Overseer-Dustin

Welcome to the boards... Those are awesome clippings indeed...
Please take advantage of the New Community Fan Art section so that all may share in these pieces of Memorabilia...
Up along the top you'll notice the Word Community on the right, just move your mouse over it and a Submenu will drop down, you'll see Fan Art in there, click on that and then follow the directions to Upload those clippings...
Make sure the File Names have No Spaces or special characters, just letters and numbers... I think numbers are okay... Otherwise the website will reject the upload...
Always great to have a new fan in the community... You say you started playing with the release of Pandora, have you played the 3 games prior to Pandora??? Mean Streets, Martian Memorandum, or Under A Killing Moon...

Bafitis,
I'll be sure to make due note of your suggestion in the next day or two. I'm only on here for a quick response right now.
Yes, absolutely I've played the other Tex games and LOVED them. Also had the novel editions and strategy guides back in the 90s. I *loved* how in the Overseer Strategy Guide they had all of the interviews and making-of tidbits. I need to hound eBay to get all of that stuff back, including my Overseer soundtrack CD. My old collection was vast, full of Access Software items. Tex Murphy t-shirts (official), matchbooks, keychains, the works. I realllllly wish I'd kept better track of where that stuff went (or just kept it!).
Does anyone remember the PC Gamer magazine that came with a demo cd of Pandora? That's what originally got me hooked. The demo disc had the image of Tex's green-tinted face looking through the blinds of, geez, I believe it was Archie Ellis' place? Memory may fail me there.

The Cosmic Connection, I believe was the name of Archie's place...
Yes there's never been a collection quite like the Tex Adventures... Good to have you with us...
Have you gotten a chance to try out 3 Cards yet??? I've purchased it and I've installed it, just haven't had the time I feel it needs to give it a go yet...
