Anyone purchasing GOG games, They have missing important files. All the examination files are missing. They have included one only.

these are the following errors I have found.

cannont view full untranslated letter, cannot view calander book & date book in witt's apartment. I have copied all the examination files from the dvd disk I made from wintermutes's hd/dvd installer. The examination of these items now works.

Send an email to GOG and let them know so they can issue a patch and update the games for future downloads...

Ahhh... Well maybe James or AC/CJ can yell at them and let them know what's going on...

I don't plan on buying until Overseer is ready, that way I can just buy all 5 at one time...

Be sure to also post a message on the GOG forums. Bug reports usually get a response from GOG staffers there.

I had a problem with UAKM with the reassembled Bastion of Sanctity/Reiner/Chameleon letter. Wouldn't recognize it as assembled. I could still read it, and I'm not a big stickler for points, but if UAKM didn't come with that save game with the BAS already a waypoint at the end of day 4 (I think) I would be royally hosed.

That problem has been around with that particular note ever since the game was created. Thankfully the proper assembly of the note is not required to finish the game. We've all learnt to live with this glitch since 1994! lol!

okay I finally received a email from GOG, after sending another today , plus several comments on the forum.

They asked me to send them the files but I felt it wasn't right as wintermute did the work binding them from the cd's to single files. they have created images of the cd's which only contained the examination files . I checked all my original cd's & cross checked them with their files & found on 2 disks they had left out files. I send them an email with the file names which were left out of their images. They checked the game but not knowing the game they didn't realise that objects scroll down & books open up & that was the problem. Sounds trivial but to solve puzzels you need to view these objects right.

hopefully a patch will be available.
