only can hope.:)

im looking forward to FMV game that have Mark Hamill in it and rest of the casts too.

I would like all this on site that TM series got on.:)

WC: Wing Commander
WC2:Vengeance of the Kilrathi
WC3: Heart of the Tigers
WC4: The Price of Freedom
WC5: Prophecy

What you guys think? I never played but maybe you guys have on all 5.
I own every Wing Commander game and yes they are Awesome... I would love for them to come out compatible with the newer system as well...

3, 4, and 5, I believe are all available on the Playstation as well... It might only be 3 and 4 though... Not completely sure about 5...

How is the Playstation version of 3 and 4? I am thinking of buying it on Amazon.com for 7$ + each + shipping cost but dunno the different is on PC and PS. I heard there were cuts for PS then PC version or something?

or wait and see if Gog would release all of them
I don't know, I haven't played it on the Playstation, I just know that 3 and 4 were put out on it... So I don't know if things were cut out of it or what...

7 bucks plus shipping doesn't seem to bad... Have you checked on ebay just to see if they had any better prices???

Good thread.

Here's my wishlist:

- Ripper

- Black Dahlia

- Star Trek: A Final Unity

- Star Trek: Judgment rites

- Star Trek: 25th Anniversary

- Star Wars: Dark Forces (this will most likely appear on STEAM)

- Spycraft

- A non-DRM version of Half Life 2 (this won't happen, but we can dream. I'd pay for the game again just for it to be DRM free)

- The Police Quest series

- Dark Seed 1 & 2
Joel, Sierra redid the Police Quest Series... You can play them on XP and Vista now... They re-released Police Quest, Space Quest, Kings Quest, and Leisure Suit Larry...

Here's one place I found with a quick Google search where you can download it...

D2D seems to have quite a bit of stuff... Gonna have to check this site out a bit more...

this thread gets the Mr_Cyberpunk stamp of approval.
WC: Wing Commander
WC2:Vengeance of the Kilrathi
WC3: Heart of the Tigers
WC4: The Price of Freedom
WC5: Prophecy
My god that would be awesome, but WC1 and 2 have trouble on newer hardware, I have them on CD and they either run too fast or the Copy protection system screws up and you can't even start the game- I assume there's a fix for these but I've never tried.

WC3 however is sexeh and do want.

I would also like for them to put The entire X-Files game up, its even bigger than the Tex Murphy games so it'll be a hefty download.. but more than worth it.
Star Trek: A Final Unity
Yes, I love this game so much.. There's so much fun you can have with the game, for instance has anyone tried breaking the Romulan treaty before? :D its so fun doing that, basically the game just sends wave after wave of warbirds at you to try and stop you.. eventually you have to give up though because your ship gets too damaged and you can't warp to the nearest star base.

Another few games I'd like from the star trek series are:

1. Birth of the Federation (because it kicks ass!)
2. Elite Forces 1
3. Klingon Honor Guard
4. Star Trek Star Fleet Academy (OMFG this game is amazing, its got a lot of FMVs staring William Shatner and the other enterprise crew.) Though this game will take up a lot of space, its 5 discs.
5. Star Trek: Klingon Academy (same as above).
6. Star Trek Star Fleet Command 1 and 2 (amazing games)
7. Star Trek Generations (lots of FMVs) Not a very good game though, but its still worth having.
8. Star Trek Insurrection the game (similar to Final Unity only suckier)
9. Star Trek Away Team
10. Star Trek Armada 1 and 2

that's about all I can think of at this point in time.
Star Wars: Dark Forces (this will most likely appear on STEAM)
yes definitely. I'd love Dark Forces 2 Jedi Knight as well, because as we know its an FMV game too- one of the best IMO.
Well, I decide to buy Wing Commander 3 and Wing Commander 4 for cheap from Amazon.com for PlayStation and should arrive to my house this week. I am looking forward to it.

I still have Star Trek: A Final Unity/ST Generation on my CDs. I have to use my Window 98 system (I still have it) to play old classic games.
Yeah once my computer room gets done I plan to have a Win98 System for the older games, instead of trying to figure out how to run them all on my newer system...

Let me know how those are on the Playstation... I thought about picking them up myself when I saw they were out for it...

Totally agree. In fact, in terms of Star Wars games, I consider Dark Forces 2 to be The Pandora Directive of Star Wars games in the way that your decisions throughout the game set you onto a particular path toward either side of the force.
agreed however I felt that the use of a karma system was a bit bland and boring, especially when you realize that KOTOR 1 and 2 basically used the EXACT same idea. Whereas I would have rather a Mass Effect style where by Good and Evil don't exist instead you're given 2 different ways to solve the games objectives and you can interchange between the two- this was great because sure it has 2 definite endings but like Deus Ex these had very little to do with what the player actually did in the game and were rather just different ways to end the game, but for the most part the Paragon and Renegade paths focused on ways your player to show themselves to the world, where you could be a professional space captain that secretly was a racist, or a hard ass marine that when all the aliens complain you're the only one that gives a enough to actually go out there and save everyone..

Or you could just be a total jerk :D That's why Mass Effect does some amazing things with its system- it goes against what you'd usually associate with a karma system and I approve of it more.. I hate giving definitive GOOD and EVIL tags to people.. Its far more fun to make everyone ambiguous until their true colours become more noticeable as you get to know them better.. but by then its too late. Deus Ex was great at that- even now I have no idea who the good guys actually are.

For JK it should have been possible that Kyle would get Jan killed, but still be a Jedi. This would have lead to some amazing and deep storyline- we eventually see that in Jedi Outcast but its pretty tacky compared to how epic it could have been in the first.. In fact I've always wondered if that's what they originally wanted to do but ran out of time.
wing commander 4 for the playstation has a few scenes missing from the pc version buddy just to let you know.
