I feel the same way, Fred. This'll sure put Disney's magic to the test. When DC quits "no comment"-ing, I wonder what they'll say.

I also wonder how they'll treat Black Knight in the Magic Kingdom.

Anyway, until Tinkerbell becomes the next Wasp, make mine Marvel.

I dunno. It's not so bad. Disney hasn't been the same since John Lasseter and the Pixar posse rode into town. Things could even improve.

Also, DC Comics has been owned by Warner Bros. for decades. That didn't stop "The Killing Joke" from being printed.

From what I heard, Disney is going to let Marvel operate like it always has, they just want to obtain the Boy Market... Because for a while there they were doing the Princess bit for the Girl Market and just lost touch with the Boys, so this buyout of Marvel will just put their name in the Boys Market... But as of now from Disney we shouldn't expect to notice any major changes in Marvel's operation...

I guess this means they'll be able to open a New Park in Disney World now though... lol

It's a good thing Watchmen belongs to DC, then.

However seeing Frank Castle and the Hulk arm in arm on skates are making me kind of sick to my stomach.

Just goes to show you that Everything has a Price... Because to my knowledge Marvel wasn't in any financial danger... And if they weren't in Danger, they'd have no real reason to sell out, but apparently they had a price...

I'm with Fred though, seeing the Hulk on Ice, not very appealing... But I don't think we'll be seeing any of them on Ice...


If Disney is Smart, which they've shown to be in the past, they will just buy Marvel and let it continue to run as it has... If they try to fix something that isn't broke, all they're asking for then is trouble...
