I have changed servers and am now known as pdcagirl
Have just resumed replaying Pandora Directive and am on Disc 5 which is day 8. All other discs played well and in the past the whole set played well. But now am getting such broken up screen images when I go from moving freely to being stopped to search that I can hardly see the screen let alone do anything.
Anyone have an idea what might be going on or what I might be doing wrong?

But to answer your question, any soft tissue will do. I use the hanky that came with my glasses, as it's soft and doesn't leave any marks at all. So if you use glasses, you probably have a similar soft handkerchief as well.

no don't buy it from gog as they have left some files out of it, or if you do I can give the files to fix it up.
soft cloth & you wipe across the disk & not round in a circle. A tissue will scratch the disk.
A microfibre cloth is also good
not sure if this is your problem but just looking at the cd might indicate if this is your problem.

The Flash Drive as mentioned works great... Also if you up it to an 8 GB Flash drive, you can get the first 4 games, that's Mean Streets, Martian Memorandum, Under A Killing Moon, and Pandora, all on the same Flash Drive... And there's enough room left over, where you can put things like the Manuals, the E-Novels, the Puzzle Solutions, Walkthroughs, and Radio Theater Files, on it... Now all of your Tex Murphy stuff, Minus Overseer, are all on one handy Flash Drive...
