I bought it, played it, and the first 4/5ths of the game are difficult and insanely hypnotic. However, the ending is a real let-down.
SPOILERS
The game spends the longest time building up these great suspects, and then at the end they throw in this guy who is obviously the killer because they couldn't write a decent ending. The ending is very cheap, and it is really dissapointing.

it's a long game . I think there a few bugs in the game, the voice finishes but the lips still move as if they are still talking.
it tells where were you have to go next & won't let leave the room if you haven't collect all the info.
I think it's a once played game & put it the cupboard game.

Dracula Origin was like that... Very limited in the places you could go until you've completed this or that... And the puzzles are too easy to remember... I could probably play Dracula Origin in my sleep...
It's a decent enough game, but like you just said, it's basically a single play and then you put it away for a few years until you've pretty much forgotten it... Then when it turns up it's almost like a whole new game... lol

well now I'm finished the game I have only one thing to say, it was the most idiotic ending I have ever experienced in a game.
could have been better to show a video of the murders for the ending not just jack the ripper waving a knife around with the noises. How stupid...............

The end to Dracula Origin was kind of stupid as well... Certainly wasn't worth the 20 I paid for it... I'd say the game was worth 10...
I mean there was way to lose really, the game wouldn't advance until you finished this or that the right way and when you confronted an enemy if you didn't say the right thing, it backed you up and you just had to do it all over... It would have been nice if you risked the chance of dying once in awhile...

I love the way texmex hid the spoilers. Must remember that when I post in future.

actually I didn't see his hidden spoilers, & he is 100% correct.
What $#it me was throughout the game they used a couple of characters in different roles.
Like the street kid helping sherlock became the killers kid in the end, very confusing.
