They both look SWEET!

Although the book of Eli looks EXACTLY like Fallout 3! Love it!!

That is exactly what I thought when I saw it.

Including that gas mask type helmet they show.

I figured you would like it for sure.

Wonder if Fred watched it.

As a matter of fact I did. While I draw no similarities between anything (drawing them is in no way similar to acknowledging them), I do love the trailer and look of The Book of Eli. Also, there's Gary Oldman.

As for Legion, I've seen the trailer before, and I'm gonna go see it with as low expectations as I can - if only so's I can get pleasantly surprised.

Pirates, vampires, zombies, ninjas, ghouls, aliens, goblins, monsters, robots, sorcerers, undead, werewolves, demons, mutated dinosaur-cyborgs and those pesky phone salesmen! The shotgun is a one-size-fits-all solution!
The Book of Eli does remind me of Fallout 3. And the other post-apocalypse film they've got coming out, based on the novel, The Road. And The Road Warrior. Now that I think about it, there aren't many movies that are post-apocalyptic. Or at the very least, I can't think of 'em right now.

Anyway, Book of Eli does look good, and Legion almost looks like a coin flip. It'll either be really cool, or suck loads of ass through a wide straw.

The Road, you say? Must have a gander.

Also, if you want to call it that - Resident Evil: Extinction counts as a post-apoc flick. Although it does, as you say, suck copious amounts of ass through a straw.

That is just gross.
Matt
I have a tendency towards grossness every once in a while.

I love post-apocalyptic moves. Hell, it's my favorite kind of movie.

Book of Eli looks utterly mediocre and the fact that it's made by the Hughes brothers virtually guarantees it. I promise this will be a major disappointment. Too bad because Oldman will shine (as always) and Mila Kunis looks fantastic (as always).

P.S. A post-apocalyptic movie has no business looking as glossy as Book of Eli looks.
I know, the shinyness of it kinda ruins it. But hey, it's Hollywood, innit? Can't get everything you want from'em.

Just, please lord, deliver us from the evil that is Mad Max 4 starring Paul Walker.

Ugh... is all I have to say bout that.

Here's a trailer for The Road: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hbLgszfXTAY

The preview makes it look pretty action packed, but the book wasn't. I wonder how deceptive the trailer was, or how different the movie will be from the book.

The Road is definitely a movie on my list of movies to see.
Matt
The Road actually looks like it might be pretty good.

But yeah, the trailer is probably making it look more action-packed than it is. It looks gritty though, and that's good.

I actually hope it has LESS action than the trailer is implying. Most action sequences lasting more than a few minutes get boring. I guess we'll see.
