Checking In...

Hi everyone! I know it's been a while, but life has taken some different twists and turns. Just this past summer we moved from Maryland to be closer to my wife's family in Oklahoma. As irony would have it, a book I wrote about ghosts in Maryland will be released next spring. I don't think they're going to be so much into that one in OK, but I may just land the contract with the publisher to write a book about ghosts in Oklahoma!

In addition to the writing, my wife and I both just finished a degree in Game and Simulation Programming. So... yes, somewhere down the road there will be a game from us! :)

Looks like I have some catching up to do with what AC and CJ have been doing with Big Finish!

How has everyone been?

Welcome back, and thanks for the update!

Great news about to book, I hope you get to do the Oklahoma one... maybe you could get a contract to write one in each state! Then you could travel as well! also congratulations about the computer programming degree... let us know as soon as you are working on any projects so that we can follow your work!

You indeed have a lot to catch up on... latest news has AC twittering about a positive future for Tex. Fingers are crossed!

Baf, I remember Mike's name back from the days of old... a real veteran of the community!

As for me mike... new girl, new home, new car and couldn't be happier. Dare I say I think she is the one... but we'll see.

Anyway buddy, don't be a stranger now!

Thanks for the welcome back, everyone! Congratulations on the girl both Cub and Michel!

For those that don't know me... yeah, I go quite a long way back, but I kind of just make a periodic stop through these days. I started playing Tex games with Mean Streets on a Commodore 128 in C64 mode, so that will date me a little bit.

I'll definitely keep you posted on what gaming projects we undertake, and, of course, with my writing.

I've been so out of the loop I hadn't realized 3 Cards to Midnight had been released... so I think I know what I'm doing this weekend! :)

Wow, Mean Streets???

You really are a veteran. I mean that with utmost respect. I think most of us here started with Under A Killing Moon.

I myself did, although I played Martian Memorandum first. I played it at my cousins house and was intrigued, but didn't have a computer yet, so I never got into it.

Was more of a NES, and SNES gamer at the time MM came out. Then I got my computer and found Under a Killing Moon at Cash Converters... A Canadian used store. The rest is history. I ended up getting MM from my cousin after I played through UAKM.... I didn't actually know the two were related until after I started getting into it.

Hey Mike ! Glad to see you here.
Still got my signed "pre-release" copy of your book. I read it again, a year or so ago. Good stuff! I'm glad to hear you've got more works on the horizion, and maybe even multimedia in the future no less!

Well, enjoy 3 Cards to Midnight, the sequel will be out soon. A perfect time to pop back in.
Glad you've settled down close to family, and take care, always a pleasure to see you!

Jen

Ditto from TOG, Mike. Deadly Heirs was very good and I was hoping for a sequel. Still, great to hear from you again.
