In the cage with Koro

Hey, I just had an interesting experience with Overseer.

I was fooling around in Val Davis' lab and somewhere in the the neighborhood of the microscope and the lightboard I somehow slipped through the cracks and wound up on the wrong side of the room map.

I could skim along the walls and get into all of the cages. I was right there sharing the cage with Koro! Then I visited the weasel and the whippit. It was cool.

Then I was able to go through the wall and into the hallway outside of Val's lab. I passed through the wall again and walked into the radiation chamber and then right out again.

I couldn't find my way back into the correct game space and had to quit the game to get back. Have any of you guys seen this before? Maybe I'll try to retrace my srteps to see where the entry point is.
I love those type of bugs! I can't wait to try to find it myself - let me know what you discover.
Could you save the game next time? I would like to see it for myself also ;)
That sounds like it was fun! You turned into a ghost! :D
And nope never had anything like that happen to me. Thanks for sharing.

I've had one or two similar experiences where the game went wacko and I found myself traipsing along unknown paths, but nothing quite as cool as yours.

I usually hate those bugs. Sometimes you'll drop into Blue Hell and find some unfinished works (Symphony of the Night and San Andreas) and sometimes you just fall. And fall. And fall (Blood Omen 2.)

It irritates me because I'm not an avid saver.
One time playing Pandora, I found myself on the outside of Tex's Computer Room, looking in. Like somehow, I was outside of the boundries of the room. It was cool, but ultimately, it was like I was stuck. I think it was late in the game where I was bringing the CD from Malloys pad back to put in the code. And I hadn't saved in a long time. So it was cool that I could move around outside of the room, but since I couldn't get back in, I was highly peed that I hadn't saved. Hours of wasted time ...

Since there were no boundries, I could run far off from the room, and see it as a distant speck in the distance. Unfourtanetly there isn't anything outside of that room to report as awesome. So it was more a nusicance than cool. I could look at everything in the room, and even open the door, but I couldn't go through it. Only got that bug one time, and never could recreate it ...
I'm not fat ... I'm festively plump.
I'm sorry I haven't been able to recreate this yet. If I do, I'll save it, but it might be something more related to random bugs in Windows rather than something one has have control over. I'll try a few more times.
Just curious: Couldn't you use the TRAVEL panel to get out and then back?
I don't think so, Val. Once you go outside the normal parameters set by the creators, you usually have to reboot your computer (or, at least exit the game).
