Australia School Answering Machine real?

There is a message at the beginning of the video stating that it is the "Real" message for the school... Only thing to do I guess would be ask one of our Aussie cousins to call the school and verify...
How about it, can any of you guys over there call the school one night to check this message out???

I found the message quite humorous and am thinking about suggesting it to my son's school...

Are parents really trying to sue to have their kids' grades raised because the kids didn't do the work???

actually I have a friend who is employed by the school to ring the parent's up when the kids don't come to school, she should get a real laugh.

That was brilliant.

I see stuff like this and i get the feeling that why most kids are not getting a decent education is because no rational human being would want to put up with the crap teachers get from parents (or these teachers are just REALLY dedicated... which is a good thing).

The only time I give a teacher a hard time is when I feel my child is being singled out for something that is ridiculous...

Otherwise I give my son the hard time, because his school work is his responsibility...

That Video about the Answering Machine sums up the majority of people though... It's amazing how many people try to blame the educators because those parents didn't take the time to teach their children responsibility... So many people think that it is completely the school's place to raise their children...

I have unending respect for anyone who work in K-12 education anywhere. Wild horses could not drag me to a middle school ever again.
