the worst game I have ever played
Mario is Missing on Super Nintendo... One of the worst games I have ever played on that system... just sprung into my mind.

E.T. on the Atari 2600... it's actually rather notorious for being one of the worst games ever made for any platform, and I have to agree.

It could be that i am delerious and tired from this cold (but cannot sleep. ARGH!), but i'm having a hard time thinking of the worst stinker i've played in my years of gaming.
It was probably something on the PC in the 90s... HA or maybe one of those horrible platformers made by Ocean based on movie franchises like Lethal Weapon or Hudson Hawk.
I also have pretty horrid memories of the Castlevania game on the N64.
It's tough though, i mean i own Mario is Missing on the SNES and Bible Adventures on the NES. Those are bad, but not THAT bad. It probably does go to an Atari game (but even ET is not as horrible as some of the games that have been made).
Ok, i'm rambling. Ending the post now.

Hmmm...I guess I'd pick Resident Evil:Outbreak, for being virtually unplayable.

I completely agree on ET. And it made Atari go bankrupt, to boot.
I know you probably meant video games, but the Lord of the Rings movie-version board games are horrible as well. (There *are* really good Lord of the Rings board games, but the ones that pillage artwork from the movies for Fellowship, Two Towers, and Return of the King are 3 of the worst board "games" ever...there is really no gameplay at all. Reiner Knizia's Lord of the Rings and War of the Ring are very good board games that are Lord of the Rings-themed.)

I don't normally commit bad games to memory... If I didn't like it I get rid of it and that's that... I'll tell you my most annoying game memory and that would be The SIMS...

Sims?
I think I might know why you hate that one if I remember correctly....
As Far as E T goes.... this is amusing. From Wikipedia
E.T. is often viewed as one of the biggest commercial failures in video gaming history, as well as one of the worst video games released. The game is frequently cited as a contributing factor to Atari's massive financial losses during 1983 and 1984, and a glut of unsold copies of the game contributed to the video game industry crisis of 1983. As a result of overproduction and returns, hundreds of thousands of unsold cartridges were buried in a New Mexico landfill.
It was pretty bad... I remember. It was near impossible too.
There was another game on atari that I hated, but I can't remember the name of it and I can't find it in an atari list of games.
One of the best atari games I played was Plaque Attack and Break Out
As far as the worst game I ever played???
I found paper boy very irritating
I can't think of any others.

A little lengthy, but a good watch... Can't say I completely agree with all their choices, but it wasn't bad...

Interesting... the only Lord of the Rings board game I've played is Lord of the Rings Risk, and the whole family has really enjoyed playing that. We've spent many long nights playing some intense games that lasted until the crack of dawn.sdbutler80 wrote:I completely agree on ET. And it made Atari go bankrupt, to boot.
