Have just started to play the game and finding it very interesting. Re the puzzles - is there a way to start a puzzle and then get out of it though not finished and return to continue or start puzzle over again? So far have not found a way. The puzzle I am in if not finished seems to necessitate redoing the whole chaper.

You must complete the entire scene, but you may exit a chapter between tarot cards without losing your progress.

The game is automatically saved when you complete each scene.

That said, if you really need to exit during a scene, there is not much of a loss -- you just need to find items again that you already found the first time around -- presumably, this would be fairly simple...certainly much faster the 2nd time through
