Well, time is running out for the year 2009 (and thank god for that, its been a terrrible year for alot of people, myself included)

Does any of you know where to get some of those "spicy" calenders like the Colonel's ?

I was hoping Demonlawyer would show up with news about his annual Tex calendar.

So, how's about it, David?

He made a Tex Calendar??? That would be awesome to have...

Haven't done them for some time, but I'll try and work on some before the New Year.

Yes Baf, I did calendars for about four years or so, with different pics for each month. I tried to get all the characters in each year, including some of the characters and scenes that were just brief glimpses.

It also used to have important events from the Tex world, from dates in the games to dates in the book. It also had all the birthdays of the actors that I knew at the time (maybe IMDB will help me fill some more blanks!)

I'll try and get something sorted...

If you make 'em again I'll happily pay for it...


It would be kind of neat to have all the Birthdays from the Regulars here on the board as well... Just a thought, maybe a future Calendar...

I tried that once but it put too many birthdays in the spaces and I figured that I'd miss someone unintentionally and forever offend them, so I think I only did that once, though I'm open to what others think.

I'd recommend a thread with people putting their birthdays if they want to be added. Give a time limit so that only those whose birthdays are on that thread will go on the calendar. No hard feelings.

And also, just put our messageboard names. They're usually shorter, and they're what we know each other by for the most part anyway.

Exactly Jerry Dan, I was gonna say the same thing... Put up a Thread, ask James to make it a Sticky Thread and who ever wanted their B-Day put in the Calendar they have until X Date to submit their date to the Thread and then come the closing Date James will lock the Thread, that way you are putting in what is asked and not doing it on your own, so if someone is missed it isn't your fault and they have no right to be offended... They just have to wait until next year's Calendar...

Yeah the Screen names would be best, but if you wanted to you could put the names along the bottom of page for that month with something like Bafitis {Michael Bafitis}... I'm kind of a bad example though, since I'm already using my real name... lol

I haven't been here in a few years, but, though I can take no credit for David/demonlawyer's fine calendars, I did once have the pleasure of prodding him gently but firmly to create one. David, if you come through for 2010, I promise to make Tex calendars the most sought-after item in all of Brooklyn!

I got a calendar back a few years ago when Demonlawyer put one together and it was great. I can't wait for the 2010 version!

Blimey I have a lot to live up to! I will try and make a start on it a little later tonight, as for the thread for birthdays, I will make a start on that in a second...
