This reminds me of a story my mom once told me.
Supposedly, someone sent in a letter asking "How old Cary Grant?" (note the missing "is").
The reply came: "Old Cary Grant fine, how you?"
(for you youngun's, Cary Grant was a movie star in the mid 20th century)
(special note to JTOG and others of our age: did I actually say "mid 20th century" ?!?!?)
