Hey - I'll see what I can do.
The way I've done it works without a hitch, but it requires you to copy the main directories of the CDs to your hard drive (or whatever working drive you wish).
But first, unzip this file:
http://undeception.com/Moon.zip
It will create a main directory called "Moon". I put this directory under one called "Tex", which I put on my desktop (more on this later).
Now, under the "Moon" folder, beside everything else already there, put the folders for each CD containing the contents: DISK1, DISK2, DISK3, DISK4, and under them the MASTERTX folders from the respective CDs. Here's a view:
Bear in mind that the dosbox.conf file is configured for my path: hard disk/Users/[my profile name]/Desktop/Tex/Moon. If you want to put it elsewhere, you'll have to go to the end of the dosbox.conf file in the unzipped Moon directory and change the parameters (this should be fairly simple).
To run the game, run the "UAKM" file with the DOSBOX icon, not uakm.exe.
Please let me know if you've got questions, and if it works!

Power PC processors powering Macs (they have been replaced by Intel chips in all new Macs).
OS 10.5 is recent but not the current OS for Macs.

thank you very much it started right up.
the only problem now is that it is very slow. i can change the cycling to speed it up , but the lagging in "walk around mode" makes it unplayable. is there anything i can do to correct this or is this a problem with me using an old g4 1.35ghz ppc with 1 gig of ram.

Well, after fooling around with the cycles, I never had any lag problems with UAKM (Pandora is slightly laggy). This may well be a result of the facts that my MacBook is 2.16 GHz and I have 2g of RAM.
I have no knowledge of anything to remedy your problem, but that's not saying much given that I'm a tech bumbler who mostly follows instructions and blindly tweaks on my own.

I hope you find something that helps.
