This is a great board.

I'm really grateful for the new folks that have become a part of the family and kept things going here. Keep up the good work guys.

You are just as much needed here as any of the rest of us, so we are grateful for you being here as well...

It's great to have such a good community here.

Come to think about it - when was the site uploaded? I wonder if we're coming up to any milestones?

It's always great to see new faces, I love seeing all the regulars, and it's always sad to see others go.
David
I do enjoy our family here. It's nice to just have people to hang out with and talk about any random thing that pops into our heads.

I agree with all of the above; you guys and gals are great.
A lot of the Vets "Join Date" say May 31st and the beginning of June in 2005, so I'm guessing the site was uploaded and opened almost 5 years ago... Which is usually a milestone... Not exactly sure how we could celebrate it considering the vast distance in which we all live apart from one another, so a "Get Together" is out of the question...

Wasn't this site uploaded in 1998 originally?

I thought Cube said he has been here since the beginning, which was way back.

I love this community... I actually am not part of any other message board but this one.

I am not a fan of them, but this one makes me feel at home.

I understand that the community has been here for over a Decade, but Demon was asking about this site or at least that is how I read it...

Ditto from TOG. I can't think of a better place to be on the net. You people are fantastic!

I agree Matt. I'm a member here and at Big Finish but this is the only board I regularly visit and post on because I really care about the cause and enjoy this community.

I came for the Tex-related news. I stayed for the people.

Fun fact is, I'm still getting Tex-related news. Well, every once in a while, at least. But even if I didn't get them I would still be here.

Pirates, vampires, zombies, ninjas, ghouls, aliens, goblins, monsters, robots, sorcerers, undead, werewolves, demons, mutated dinosaur-cyborgs and those pesky phone salesmen! The shotgun is a one-size-fits-all solution!
I agree with everyone here, you guys are cut from the finest cloth. I think I joined here sometime around 2001 when there were works of a Tex webisode. But once I got into the community, I found a home here. Its this and one other board that I check at least twice a day. You guys and gals are the tops :D . Later.

Even if another Tex game never comes to fruition, the fact that this community stands triumphant is reward enough :) Consider my membership one for life.

My only worry is this (and I apologise for being morbid): how are we to know when certain members no longer post on the board have...well, you know, passed on? Do we just infer from the long period in which they have not posted? I'd hate to think that the members just eventually fade 1 by 1 without any warning or anything like that.
