JIM!!!! QUIT IT!!!

That's 2 in a row!
Not nice at all. :?
Sorry, Jen, but I have, at times, a POS, if you know what I mean. If not, send me a PM.
"If you look to me for illumination, you better have a flashlight!"
I have the distinct feeling this is absolutely none of my business, but I'm way too curious not to ask.... What just happened?

Pirates, vampires, zombies, ninjas, ghouls, aliens, goblins, monsters, robots, sorcerers, undead, werewolves, demons, mutated dinosaur-cyborgs and those pesky phone salesmen! The shotgun is a one-size-fits-all solution!
I sent a PM to Jen, thought she had received it, read it, so I deleted it. Good news is: I explained my actions in a second PM. Bad news is: I thought she received it, read it, so I deleted it. I'm in BIG trouble!

BTW, I didn't know that if you PM someone and then delete it a day or 2 later, apparently the person does not get it? Or, isn't able to keep it? I don't quite understand how it works. Any explanations an ill-literate compute guy can comprehend?

You mean if you delete it from your Outbox the other person doesn't get the PM??? Wow I had no idea... Will keep that in mind whenever PMing...

Didn't know that either but can't you hold loads of PMs now incase you ever need to refer back to them? I remember James freeing up the number of messages you could hold.
David
so I can abuse someone to make me feel good & delete quickly so they don't get it....LOL

tex murphy is back in town
So does that mean that you can send someone a PM that only exists in the past because they never got to read it?

The memory of a private message that's no longer available.

I realize when I start to philosophize like this that I sound not quite unlike those stoner-dudes in films when they're trippin' balls.

I assure you my mental jiu-jitsu is unaffected by artificial stimulants. It's more like my head is a pinball-machine. And all the thoughts are merely pinballs. And it's always, always MUH-MUH-MUH-MULTIBALL!!

Also, I realize, I like being trapped in my own little world. They know me here. Plus there's pinball.

Actually wouldn't it be a PM that only Exists in the Future, since they never read??? Always there to read, but never for them...

There must be an alternate universe, somewhere, where all those PMs are clustering the intarweb and clugging the bandwith.

Someone, somewhere, has lost his connection and is cursing, once again, an unknown foe. Little does he know that Jim, a few dimensions from there, is the culprit, innoncently deleting PMs that never were.

So that's why I keep getting all these PM's when I visit the forum from Zen? Interesting Frank.

I never got a chance to read the messages before they got deleted. So...Jim, I am still in the dark. For both posts.
