Unofficial Tex Murphy

Ok, so about a month or two ago my PC of 5 years finally died. I ordered a new one and only as of Sunday has it been stable. I thought to myself, "Hey, i need to catch up on everything that's gone down on the Tex board". Yowzers! You guys don't dissapoint. I'll be here for a while, and if you see a bunch of replies in old threads, you now know why

I think you probably have the record for the shortest thread title on the board.

Of course, now I've opened two cans of worms:

1) Someone with too much time on their hands (unemployed me, for example) will search through all of the old threads to find a shorter title.

2) Someone will start a thread with a one- or two-character title.

Mark my words!

Short thread title or no, it is refreshing to see the big AV and GS posting again. BTW, Gary, your middle initial isn't P by any chance, is it?

Gary P. Sogar a.k.a. GPS, like in GPS. My wife's initials are DED. Doesn't sound very inviting, does it. My sister-in-law's initials are LED.

Sadly I just went from SMK to SMG. Smoke to smog. Not that exciting.

Cub: With me it was waiting 2 weeks for the new PC, then the hard drive being corrupted, and then the problems with ATI Radeon drivers and Windows 7 64-bit. Everything seems to be stable now *crosses fingers*... and along with the board, you have cute bunnies to help calm you down

I think it's cool. You went from smoke to sub-machine gun. A staple of many a fps title...

True story: My mom and dad were going to name me Anthony Scott Sogar or Gary Anthony Sogar until they figured out the initials. No kidding.
