Depression

Today is the worst day of my life......................

All my friends are dead, over the last 6 years watching their mistakes & seeing their losses & their challenges. I am now lost

I have had similar, although not as extensive, feelings about TV shows over the years. Star Trek TOG (no, not the old guy but the original series), more recently Monk, I Spy with Robert Culp and Bill Cosby, 24, and several others. They find their way into our hearts and then pull the plug like a scene from Dune.
"If you look to me for illumination, you better have a flashlight!"
So but how was the ending? I was told you don't get closure with all questions answered. Did they just leave you hanging?

The weirdest series finale I saw was Newhart. The guy wakes up from a dream and it turns out the entire TV show he was in was just a dream and the actor wakes up on the set of his old TV show instead. Very strange.

Once you start down the dark path, forever will it dominate your destiny.
You know they may have left the hanging questions so that they could create a Movie...

I've read several posts by friends on Facebook that people were very disappointed the way it ended...

The only questions they left hanging were either insignificant or intentional as to be more powerful.

I think the ending of Lost did well in wrapping up the long and convoluted series. Questions like what the numbers meant, how did certain people see the dead, why Walt was important, etc. weren't answered, but they ended it in a way as to say that the answers didn't matter. I heard a rumor from a friend that the answers might show up in book form.

the dvd is going to have an extra 20 mins of things that they couldn't fit in the last chapters,
so it be interesting to see if this does happen.

I'm convinced that certain people wouldn't have been happy unless the final episode was just the writers sitting down and answering 'nerd' questions for 2 and a half hours.

Wankers? Facebook? Plumgas, you ol' duckbill platypus, you.

I'm with you Plumgas, I think it was the best series wrap up ever, beating out Six Feet Under. Here's me...

Claire looks upward and makes the connection. "Charlie...."

Super BAWL!

The church's stained glass windows depicting the multitude of faiths. Very touching.
Well I wasn't a watcher, I'm just glad that my friends here were satisfied with the ending...
