Chocolate Chilli in the wild
I could bore you with details of how I spent 10 years scouring the country for chocolate chilli, but unfortunately I would be lying. In a National Trust gift shop in Devon I found and purchased some of the infamous substance. Surprisingly it's quite palatable, with an initial taste of dark chocolate and a hot chilli aftertaste. I dutifully took a picture of the packet for posterity: http://www.flickr.com/photos/33569501@N00/4738626015
In addition, there is a web address on the packet for the creators of this unique snack: www.sdcf.co.uk

Actually, chocolate is a typical ingredient in some types of chili, especially the Middle Eastern type that is popular in the Cincinnati area. I tried chocolate in a chili I made once, but I used too much. It was awful. We christened it "Toll House Chili."
