Running a Mac...

I used to play this game (Overseer, specifically), at my friend's house on his PC. Is there any way I can get any of these games to run on a Mac (OS X 10.5)?

First and foremost - welcome to our close-knit community! It is always a thrill to see new posters.
Second, some of the Tex games were made specially for Mac systems but these can be hard to come by. Was there an Overseer Mac version? I do not know but someone will eventually get around to finding the answer, someone with more savvy than moi.

Oh dear. Sadly the Tex games on GOG are for PCs and I don't see any mention of Macs on their website.
I didn't even know there were Mac versions of the Tex games.

:/ I thought as much. I was thinking I could run it through an emulator like DosBox or Boxer, but I wasn't sure...I don't really want to buy the game until I know it will work, of course.

Well DOSbox is free but unfortunately you'll need the game discs to test it out on your Mac.

I run UAKM and PD on my Macs seamlessly, using DOSBox and the CDs from the Windows versions. If you'd like some advice, let me know.

I can also vouch for UAKM and Pandora working on OS X. I am currently running both with no problems.
