Interactive Movie headed for the new Nintendo 3DS
I encountered this upcoming title while looking for news on the soon to be released Nintendo 3DS console:

It's not terribly specific but it looks as though it is intended as an interactive movie. If this is done the right way, it could breathe some new life into a genre that's long been dead. While it may not be as contageous in PC gaming, along with adventure games, the Nintendo 3DS could be the home of interactive movies. It's very interesting to find this. I've also been reading that at E3, it was revealed that many classic titles from the NES and SNES era were also in the pipeline for release. This could be the best handheld console yet.
Some more details on Hollywood 61:

It also says that the game is puzzle driven. It's almost sounding like a cross between Tex Murphy and 3 Cards to me...

It would be great if it works. Here's a list of all the releases planned - I imagine it wouldn't be too hard to take an existing game, run it through some code and make a 3D version.
I'm really looking forward to the idea of taking and viewing photos in 3D. It sounds almost Harry Potter-like.
