I don't know which day that happened so it's entirely possible.

I disapprove. The egg came first - what lay the egg that hatched the chicken was not a chicken, but something else that had mutated offspring.
Hence my theory is sound.
HAH!
Also, as far as I know, today is thursday.

A cartoon I saw once:
A chicken and an egg are in bed, smoking cigarrettes. The chicken is saying "Well, I guess that answers THAT question."

It was a Dinosaur that laid the Egg which became the Chicken... That much has already been proven in science experiments... In fact they are in the process of reversing the genes in the egg and creating a Dinosaur... So far they have made a Chicken with Reptile {scaly} legs {I might also add they were green in color and not a yellowish orange} and an very aggressive attitude...
Jurassic Park here we come...

Gary my goodness. That was clearly rated R and not PG.
BTW, Bjyman did you mean Bastille Day? It just hit me that it was the 14th last night as I went to bed.

It was my wife's birthday.
I confess that her having her birthday on Bastille Day makes it much easier for me to remember.

Ah yes Sam is the winner. I always thought the chicken came first because of what was said in the Bible.

Yes, she is. The due date is Monday. My wife was convinced that the baby would be born last weekend, but the baby's working on her own schedule. I think that my wife is ready to be done being pregnant (especially given the heat we've had). But, she knows sleepless nights are in the cards once the little one is born, so it's sort of out of the frying pan and into the fire.
