I have a great idea, you can combine your illness with your writing.
Make it about a guy who can't leave his apartment due to Tendonitis! He's stuck in a wheelchair, and the only entertainment he has involves looking out the rear window and seeing what his neighbours are up to. He witnesses a murder and is helpless to do anything! And the rest of the story unfolds from there. How original is that!?
