Anyone familiar with this? I'm trying it for the first time (man it's been a while since I used dos, but it all comes back quickly).

Anyway, I'm trying to remove the extended memory manager before running a game - any idea how I do that? The game says to refer to the manual - which isn't in the manual I have!

Ugh. All I remember was typing "memaker" and the program set up whatever virtual memory I needed to run the game. I'm not sure about removing the manager though.

Open the dosbox.conf file and scroll to the [dos] section. In this section there is the settings to "xms" and "ems" which can be turned off by changing the value to "false".
