Let's just say I pulled a few strings and was able to sneak these two pieces onto the stage.
Tex's Office
Chandler Avenue
ENJOY!

Nice, I like the Chandler Ave. better, but both are very enjoyable... Thanks Cub...

Bravo. I cannot tell you how awesome it was to listen to those tracks.
When listening to Tex's Office I couldn't help but think, "Oh boy, mail!"

No worries... here's another one:
Tex's Office Number 2
With a little help from the Choir, and a good solid brass section.

Nice work, Cub - it's striking a chord with me very nicely
Just some constructive criticism: i'd consider cutting the choir parts. As angelic and harmonious as they sound, i've always considered the Tex soundtrack to be jazz and blues based rather than classical or epic soundtrack. The former two make more sense as the story is about a down and out P.I in a dystopian, futuristic city so the ideal backdrop for this would be some fairly lean sounding music. I felt the choir added a bit too much colour for this.
But very very nice work!

By Golly Joel, that's a good observation and suggestion!
So I went back into the studio this morning, and told the choir to stand down for this version, and go have a extra long lunch. Meanwhile I got my lead violinist to work her magic on the piece and she was able to do a great rendition of that melody.
Check it out:
Tex's Office Number 2 - Version B
Sounds great like that I think.

Do you *ahem* Does your orchestra take requests?
I've always loved that bit that plays during the New Day Introductions in UAKM!

The original sax gives it all of it's noir feel, but this is a completely awesome modern-day tribute to a very memorable tune!
Awesome Cub! You get applause for this!

Dark and classy - perfect
As for the hard rock introduction, you never told me you were friends with Slash
What about a techno remix of "You've got a fax...you've got a fax"? Or am I just asking for trouble? ahhahaa
