I'm in Tucker's office at GRS. I've tried many times to get the objects in the safe. I can get two of them but never all three before the security robot kills me.

I've tried paring down the seconds it takes to enter the safe once the door opens. I've tried standing in the doorway and clicking on the statue and cassette. Once I have them I have to get into the safe and use the down arrow to get into position to get the note scraps. This is where I get killed...just after Tex is describing them.

Then, in desperation, I've tried getting the note scraps first and the cassette next. I can't get the statue...time runs out and I'm dead.

Anything you can offer in the way of help? Please?

Once you get the Door to the Safe open, go and hide behind the Plants and wait for the Robot to come and leave... Then you will have the run of the place with no worries from the Robot...

Do you mean I should open the door and then run and hide without getting the three objects?

I remember that I'm supposed to lock the robot in the safe but if I do that without getting the statue, cassette and note scraps I'll be stuck later on.

Bafitis....I did what you suggested. The robot came and went out again. I got the three things from the safe.

Does this mean I won't have to dodge the robot again? He's gone? For good?

I've played this game several times over the years and this is the first time anyone has ever told me about doing it this way. I'm amazed!

I have always got the scraps & the statue & then hide behind the tree & when the guard goes into the room close the door.

No, No, No, the Robot isn't gone for good, he just won't be back to that Office for awhile... He is still in the building...

I've never heard of locking it in the Safe... I wasn't aware you could close the Safe once it has been opened... I've never bothered to try... I'm gonna have to play Moon again just to do that... lol


You still need to be aware of the Robot in the building... I just meant that you would have the run of Tucker's office after the Robot left...


As for the Tape, the Tape tells us that we can mix the Powder with the Cigarette to kill the Chameleon later... But you don't need to watch the tape in order to be able to do that though... It''s good to get if you are going for Points...

just looked it up, you need the tape but checked a walkthrough & they all say look him in the safe to get rid of him so you can watch the tape & get the cigarette

Yeah I always lock the Robot in the safe first chance I get. The sound he makes drives me nuts. I hate listening to it.

I just hide behind the Desk in the Conference room, wait for the Robot to scan the room and leave and then I watch the Tape... Never had a problem with the Robot...

This is kewl news that you can lock him in the safe... Will definitely play it again over the next could of weeks to do this... lol

I don't look at Walkthroughs unless a game has become so boring because I can't get past something, then I look for that specific spot and go on with the game...

After I sent the last note I tried to finish up the chapter by dodging the robot as we have to do when we first get to GRS. After I got killed a couple of times, I decided to go back and wait for him in Tucker's office. When he came back I waited until he was inside the safe again and then locked him in.

Cool, huh?

Thanks again, Bafitis. I'm sure I'll be back when I get stuck again. I seem to remember the bar scenes are a bit tough. I'll probably need help.

Be sure you remember the Watch at the Countess's Mansion... So many people forget that, even us veteran players I've notice complain how they forgot it until they woke up to the opening scene on the Moon Child and it being the ending scene as well...

Well it's not just enough to get the watch. You've got to know how to use it too.

I think that is self evident once you've gotten it and examined it...

I find it strange that a watch like that would be found in a place like the Mansion though... Should have probably made it another Item to buy at the Electronic Shop with our Bogus Credit Card... Either that or had it hidden somewhere in GRS...
