I've had a couple inquire about Tex, whether or not they've gone and purchased the games is a different topic for discussion... But I certainly put those who asked on the path...



But I made the decision earlier this week that I won't be doing weeks 6 through 10 on here, so you all can rest easy...
I felt some of you here might be more knowledgeable in history than I and that I could seek help from my friends, nor did I realize how easy it would be to find in a Google Search... I was obviously wrong, and I apologize for Spamming the Boards with it...

It's kinda depressing, thankfully you've kept it to a few threads so it's not a nuisance, but it's just a bummer. It's like there's this wonderful pool of talented guys, and a die hard group that are chomping at the bit, but we can't seem to catch a break.

No, I know exactly what happen...
I took a sealed water tank {our community here} and I punctured a hole in it and waste from the outside has washed in {non-game playing members with nothing on their mind but that contest}... I accept the weight of that and I apologized for it...

So I'm doing what I can to make amends and my request has already been sent to James... Unfortunately he is extremely busy lately and I can't promise that he'll do anything about it anytime soon...

How many non game playing members did you bring in? You could always take the opportunity to teach them about Tex.

Edit: Nice analogy btw even though I'm not sure if I agree with it.

It has to be at least 50, because we were in the 800s before I started posting about the Marlboro Contest and we are now at 948... Not all of them have posted and only one has posted outside the Contest Threads, which is the one I mention below about becoming a player...

And I've only had 3 inquire about Tex, so the ratio isn't good... One I feel will become a player, whether he/she likes Tex will remain to be seen, the other two I think were more out of curiosity rather than actual interest...

As I've said, I had no idea it would be found so easily in Search Engines... I made a mistake in bringing the Contest here and I'm sorry for it... I believe with 99% certainty that once the contest is over, 99% {or more} of those new members will forget that they even have an account here...

I won't argue that... I agree completely, Cigarettes are poison, which is why I quit for 10 months in 2008=09 and plan to quit again once my Divorce is final... I'm pissed at myself for having started back up in 2009...

But Chantix works and I plan on taking it again in the coming months once the papers are signed and I'm done stressing over something stupid...

It makes me wonder, how do people like Chris Jones and others deal with Smoking when acting??? Especially the nonsmokers like Chris...
I suppose that they just don't do it enough to formulate a habit out of it...

I remember Aaron saying that Chris didn't drink or smoke, and that Tex's shot glass was really full of warm flat soda. (if I'm flashing back correctly. and BTW blech)

I'm also remembering a past story when Chris was complaining about having to smoke when he really doesn't in real life. I believe the response was something about suck it up cause you know you're not pretending to make out with Tanya Roberts. (or something to that effect)

Okay that explains the Scene in Pandora, but there are many other scenes, plus he smoked in UAKM before Tanya was even a thought for a co-star...

Nowadays though they have those fake cigarettes that you really can't tell the different except that there's no ashes... So that probably makes a lot of nonsmoking actors relieved...

I bet james is having a fit see this board being hit so many times, one would think that we had a new tex game out or something
