That's pretty cool, Michel. I'd like one of those to take my old episodes of cheers and put them on DVD.

Why don't you just buy it. It'll have much better picture and autdio quality.
I thought about getting that card a while ago, but thought I'd wait for HDTV cards to drop in price.

The video card I have has HDTV In/Out but I have never used it.

I just buy the DVDs... speaking of which... enybody gone out and bought one of those HD DVD's yet? They work on normal PC DVD players you know... and are HD quality.

Cool

Do you need a certain type of cable for running from the computer to the TV? (and where does it plug in to?)
Did the card come with instructions on how to use it for capturing from VHS to DVD? (Or is it simple anyway?)
Just wondering because I've been thinking about getting one and also a friend wanetd to know. Thanks!

This is one I've had for about a year.
http://www.ramelectronics.net/html/vide ... .html#2000
It was sold in PC World as a Packard Bell TV-100.
Uses a yellow lead (composite) to connect the video up to the TV-out on any TV or VCR.
