Just following the theme with recent thread titles. :D

We got 6 inches or so of snow early Monday morning. That's not a lot for anyone north of the Mason-Dixon line, but for us southerners it is a sign that the end times are nigh. Anyway, were shut down yesterday and are pretty much so today. I'll try and get some pics up later.

Yes 6 inches is nothing... Technically I'm south of the M&D Line, but we got over 3 feet of Snow last February... Hoping to get that again this February, but I'm thinking it's just gonna be a Cold Winter and not a wet one {snow wise that is}...

True enough for you though, you guys don't know how to deal with 3 inches let alone 6... Should provide the kids with some fun that they don't normally get...

Yeah, Dcat got Dsnow and lots of it, for that area.Hope things are OK down yonder.

Right now the Detroit area is getting dropped on but only 4 to 6 inches is expected. Easy money. In fact, I just finished shoveling and it was real light weight snow. It's the heavy, wet, springtime snow that's a bugger to shovel.

Did I just swear? Is bugger a bad word somewhere on earth? England, maybe? I seem to recall hearing that several geritols, er, years, ago.

I had to shovel my drive yesterday, and now I know why everyone in the North complains about snow. It was a pain. I finally got out of the house today. The snow's not so bad, but we always get a lot of ice as well, which is difficult to drive on. It looks like the roads are clearing up today, so maybe things will be more or less back to normal soon.

Yeah, it is a pain, especially if it is the warmer, heavy, wet snow. Snow and rain, in proper amounts, aren't so bad. But, the ice! Ouch! That is a real problem!
