Anyone looking forward to the games of 2011?

Put me down for L.A Noir too. I'm also interested to see how the remaining 4 episodes of
Back to the Future pan out, the Jurassic Park (also from Telltale) are due to follow shortly too.

Finally, Deus Ex 3 is looking amazing and is due mid-year.

Also, March is the month of the Nintendo 3DS so anything that is good on that between now and January of 2012 i'm up for. Hopefully Lucasarts also port over their classic adventures to the iPod Touch also. Could be a killer year for gaming.

LA Noir and any Metal Gears that might happen to come out... I know the one for the PS3 recently was somewhat of a let down for the True Metal Gear fans, but I'm still hopeful that the series can redeem itself... I keep hearing that they have at least 2 more planned, even though you don't hear anything from the company directly...

I know it came out last year, but I haven't gotten it yet, the 3rd God Of War, it would be great to hear news of a 4th, but I don't know how the 3rd one ends so it might close the story on it for all I know...
I haven't gotten around to getting Hard Rain either, but I really want it...


That's all I can think of for now, I've got a pretty bad migraine going on, but I'm sure others will come to me...

Ah yes, Deus Ex it has bin pushed back a bit though but if you have waited for some years a few months is nothing
the telltale games im waiting for the Ipad realese before i buy, bougth both the Ipad and PC versions of both the monkey's and puzzle agent so il not be fooled again

As for a new Metalgear, there is one comming for the new 3DS, looks promising, seeing snake in 3D

God of war 3 was alas the last game with the progres of Kratos, but they have said that there might be more, maybe a prequel?

Well, it's entirely possible if not inevitable. The two remastered Monkey Island games for the portable devices sold quite well and were critically well-received. They know there's a demand there. So, i'm currently in a phase of blind optimism in assuming they're at work now remastering that entire decade of classic adventures and will make an announcement when it's closer to the time of release. As long as it's actually happening, they can take as much time as they need.

I've got heavily back into Ultima Online. Too damn addictive.

oh bin there.. have tryed all the big mmos, just quit world of crapcraft, bin "sober" for a few weeks now0 (hopfully forever).


hmm wouder how a remake of The Dig would be, or the last crusade.

Does anybody besides me, Sam and Lynne work? Or do most of you good people just play games? Does it pay well? I mean, my old buddy Ryan Patton must be a millionaire to buy all those games this year, sit down and play them completely, them buy more games. I want a job like that!

Jim, there's a difference between wanting a lot of games and buying them. Unfortunately, my job doesn't pay me enough to buy every new game I'd want at it's full 60 dollar price when it comes out. That's partially why I'm looking for a better job.

Duke Nukem Forever is the only game I'm looking forward to. The others quite honestly I'm extermely skeptic about, especially games like Deus Ex 3, Dragon Age 2, Skyrim, Shogun Total War ect. I'm not looking forward to them at this point in time. I have Shogun pre-ordered though because it was so cheap, I regret having not done the same for Deus Ex 3 as it was extremely cheap at one point (it was around $30-40 Australian which for a new release game is insane).

I want a ton of games and would buy a few more, but I think I'm in the same boat as you, Sam, and Lynne. Life is just too busy. Right now I am in the middle of Fallout: New Vegas and Gran Turismo 5. I haven't played Fallout in about a month because Gran Turismo had GT Academy and now has weekly online races. In my little bit of spare time on the weekends I do the weekly online races and don't have much time for any other games. I just downloaded the Zork collection from Gog, but I have no idea when I'll get to play them.

Yeah I'm busy working and going to school. The only games I play these days are the casual games at Gamehouse.com. Sure they aren't challenging or thought provoking but they help me pass the odd 15-30 minutes I have to spare before getting back to work.

Ah if only some tall, not so dark and not so strange PI would come back into my life to save me from mediocre games.
