Unofficial Tex Murphy

I'm playing gray matter at the moment, so far not bad at all. When I played the demo the music was a bit irritating so I have turned it down a bit & all going well so far.

Just not bad?

only played the first chapter so far

finished the game now, about 8 hours of game play. the story was good, at first I thought it was a bit boring until about half way through the game & then I really got into the story.
it has a percentage completed on the left hand side corner, you need to get the percentage to a certain level before you can progress to the next chapter. It has 8 chapters.
It has video sequences that are like drawings with speech. Imagine if it had FMV it would have been a top game.

How was the gameplay and puzzles? I like the percentage thing, but it's a crying shame people don't use FMV.

well the puzzles were on a different level, sam the main character is a magician so you are actually doing magic tricks .

Jane the author feels FMV will come back but obviously she didn't have the budget to do it so I suppose she did the best she could.
