Where's Baf Been?

We had a bit of a dust up a couple months ago over Aaron's post at Big Finish Games and whether or not it was authentic.

He has not been seen since.

baf chooses not be a part of this community anymore.

I remember reading bits and pieces of it.

I don't remember what I read being that bad......

Unless I missed that part....
Can someone enlighten me?

Well that's sad. I didn't think it was that bad, but I suppose each is entitled to his own.

I think it was just all a misunderstanding.
When you can't hear the delivery, things are always misunderstood on both sides.

Yeah, that's the negative about text: you can't hear the tone, see the body language and facial expressions, etc.

I just want to say that there are many things that go on behind the scenes in PM's. I will not elaborate, but I will say that I have always considered this place a bit of a sacred haven, and my cyber family.

Didn't know about that part. I think I can speculate.

well the support has been getting intelligent responses lately & the standard comment that you have a damaged disk has now disappeared.

Sometimes people hold their tongue but after a while we are only human when we finally release & let it all out.

Wow... I stayed clear of that whole thread to begin with, with concerns this might happen. Looks like it did anyway. Sad.

I actually didn't take Baf literally when he announced he would leave. Maybe in a heated moment he meant it for a few minutes, maybe an hour. But I actually think that post of his was the last he ever made. It's entirely possible that while he enjoyed his time here, it just wasn't the closest thing to his heart.

I should clarify that while the text could suggest otherwise, i'm certainly not claiming he didn't like us or that he didn't feel comfortable here, but like many others who have come and gone in this community, when members like Baf leave, it just surprises you because it generally happens when you least expect it. Kind of like Porridge Princess.

I wonder if they're watching over us now...
