Hey just saying hello. I am from scotland and had a few of the tex adventures when they came out. They really took me to another place, way more than any other game and so funny. I was just going to dig em out and play em again thinking my tastes are really strange missing these old games
And here a forum almost what 12 years later with regular traffic...
that is pretty unusual. The games houses ought to be checking in on this, because they really got it right with the tex stuff. Fact is for now we cannot replace good actors with a computer program.
Hey it would be great if they had new ones tex adventures shot in 3d for the new stereo gear thats coming out..dont you think. That would be majorly immersive.
So why are you guys all here. You just cant get over TEX times like me ?.
.jeez whats this TEX music Radio !! Hey you lot have it real bad. I dont feel so bad now.

Welcome =)
We are all anxiously awaiting a new Tex game someday, hopefully, so we can find out what happened in the cliffhanger at the end of the last one.
Luckily Aaron Conners recently announced that he was going to publish a novel to reveal the story and hopefully generate some revenue for a new game.

What? Are you thinking that we are sad, lonely people with nothing better to do than to sit around and wait for the return of a guy who left us in '98?
Seriously we love Tex and long for his return. In the meantime, we've gotten to be friends and have bonded over time. We come to visit and chat with each other for the fun of it. Welcome to our crazy family!

welcome to the board, yes we are all still here waiting for another game.
A future project coming our way very soon is escape from thunder island. not a tex game but a game from the creators. Project fedora is in the pipe line some time in the future.

I am just playing overseer after digging it out a cupboard and loving the human interaction element and how it is so clear. Great way for a game to flow.
that domino puzzle is hard. I get 21 every way but diagonally across the middle. Its a mensa level puzzle. I cant progress but know i must have done it somehow 10 years ago.
I had all the other interactive movies. the tex game there was something approaching the type of social exchange we are looking for in games or maybe even the internet. It was a pity the video could not be part of the 3d environment, could easily be done now without the video being a 2d cutout.
So erm is there a section with clues for those puzzles that keep you stuck for weeks on end ?

Hint: If you can remember the code it gives you after completion it's a lot easier.

Welcome indeed! Grab a cup of tea and make yourself at home.
Well there's a lot still happening behind the scenes so do check back. The creators Aaron and Chris and Adrian all drop by from time to time (Chris I think usually with Aaron rather than on his own account).
