Yes, I have. Although I remember absolutely nothing about it anymore. So maybe a replay is in my future. Except that I remember the ending was a cliffhanger, which annoyed me.

Still Life was a sequel to Post Mortem, the game that introduced Gus MacPherson. I played them when they first came out, but I can't seem to recall much else. Decent games storywise, but not on my replay list.

Still Life is a great game in my opinion. It's a nice story and has some good puzzles. As Atomicvegetable said it's a story that has two parallel stories from 2 different points in time but these stories are connected, so it makes sense. You control Victoria McPherson, FBI Special Agent and grand daughter of Gus McPherson, solving a serial murder case in 2004 Chicago and sometimes you switch to play as Gus in 1920s Prague, Czech Republic who worked on a similar case back then.
I thought it was a great game and have replayed it a few times. I also have the 2nd game but I haven't had time to finish that one yet. I plan on replaying it from the beginning sometime when time allows it (I still have L.A. Noire to finish before that)

well finished still life 1 & I can't beleive they finished the game without you knowing who the killing was,
Four years later still life 2 continues with the story, well although this game is a little bit buggy I felt so wrapped into the story that I couldn't stop playing. Ran out of time last night so I didn't finish but I will back on to it tonight to finish it. This killer is a sick sadistic bastard .
last bit of the game is a timed theme that you must save the reporter before he kills her, Gee I hate timed games.
