Anyone going to GamesCom?
I will be there like every year. Just sent you a mail about the Gamescom.
For the others:
Just like in the two previous years, Europe's biggest adventure game website (Adventure-Treff) will be hosting a huge community meeting at a beach club that is aiming at adventure game developers, adventure game fans, publishers and pretty much everyone who is related to the adventure game community.
Confirmed guests so far include Charles Cecil (Broken Sword), Agustin Cordes (Scratches, Asylum), Matt Clark (Barrow Hill, Bracken Tor) and Martin Ganteföhr (Overclocked, The Moment of Silence). Despite of these confirmed names there will be many other developers around. So you would have the chance to meet a lot of these people in person, have discussions with them and other adventure game fans and spend a great and relaxed evening among with many other members of the adventure game community.
You can find further info on our Facebook site.: https://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=176580442394767
This is gonna be a great night for the adventure game world and if any of you have a chance to attend I'd be very glad. Would love to meet any of you at our party!

I read GamesCon. Googled it and found out it was far away. GamesCom however, is just over in Germany...
Hmm... If anybody off of Big Finish wants to go there, I might drive down just for the chance to shake some hands and shoot the breeze.
Also for the european E3 stuff

Pirates, vampires, zombies, ninjas, ghouls, aliens, goblins, monsters, robots, sorcerers, undead, werewolves, demons, mutated dinosaur-cyborgs and those pesky phone salesmen! The shotgun is a one-size-fits-all solution!
Hi Everyone,
I will be attending GamesCom in Cologne, Germany next month, where EA will have me representing The Sims 3 games. And I'll definitely be at Ingmar's Adventure-Treff party (free drinks?! Yay!), so anyone who can make it out there, I'd be happy to visit with.
As for revealing the rest of the Tex saga...sorry.
But I am writing the first of the "Trance" novels and it's exciting to have Tex back. I wish I could say when it will be done - I do apologize for all the times we've been overly optimistic about how long it would take to get our projects done - but my new responsibilities have made it trickier to find time to get some side writing done.
That being said, I HAVE to finish Tex's story, because it's a doozy (as he might say) and it's been taking up a huge part of my brain for so long. I really can't wait to get it out there for you.
As for the audio adventure game I had planned, even though I've done a ton of work on it, I decided that it was still just a stopgap (like the 3 Cards games, etc.) and what I really wanted to do - and what I think most Tex fans want - is to know the rest of the Tex saga, so I decided to just focus on the novels.
I hope that clears things up. Let me know if you have other questions...or just wait and ask me in person next month.
(By the way, I'll be having my birthday at GamesCom...just sayin'...)
Aaron

Hey, Aaron, good to hear you're still working on the novels. Do you still have plans for audio book adaptations in the future?
Also, (and this may be a bit of a long shot), could EA & Big Finish partner up in some fashion to adapt your untold stories using Sims 3 for environments, character likenesses & actions, while Big Finish & the old Access crew provide music, voice work, etc.?
Once again, thank you for your time & your efforts to bring Tex back.
Sincerely,
Hammerhead
