RCA Secret Sale

I don't know if anyone here is an art fan - I'm not hugely but I find this fun. Every year the Royal College of Art have what they call a 'secret' sale. For sale this year are 2900 postcard sized pieces of art, most from students of that year. But hidden amongst them are pieces by famous artists such as Nick Park (Wallace and Gromit) or Quentin Blake (draws the Roald Dahl pictures). There are also artists like Tracy Emin and in the past we've seen Damien Hirst as well as Norman Ackroyd.

You also get postcards from the likes of Yoko Ono, and last year Stella McCartney had a postcard there too.

You don't know who did the postcard until you bought it, so for £45 you could get something by a student or something worth thousands of pounds. The Damien Hirst originals were worth £10,000 each, and people fly in from around the world to queue up to buy these things. I never got but at the time of typing this there are bound to be people there already queuing for the sale on Saturday.

For those (like me) who don't go, they post the artists on the website on Sunday, so you can see if your guesses were right or wildly off.

It's a bit of fun - have a go
