"Fiona" - a dedicated gaming tablet with a very girly name

For 2012, i'm toying between either a gaming laptop or buying a tablet. I'm divided on both, but I just discovered this new gadget:

Oddly titled, "Fiona", it boasts itself as a dedicated gaming tablet that comprises of a 10-inch screen, dual analogue control and built with a Core i7 architecture. The concept of a dedicated gaming tablet is definitely a nice idea, but lately i've lost faith with Razer's concept of "gaming". This year they're launching their Blade gaming laptop. It's not bad, but for what they're charging, the specs are incredibly average. I'd rather just shell out another $1000.00 and get something a lot more powerful.

But as for their gaming tablet, i'm mixed. It's interesting, the controls look awkward, but the overall concept of a gaming tablet is intriguing to say the least.
since its bin some time since you posted this and you might have bought one or the other il just comment from my point of view, i have both a gaming laptop and a tablet (sure its an ipad but) for playing simpel games a tablet is wery nice and all but if you want to play high end games i would go for an laptop, even with thos joysticks i think it would be a pain to play a fps rts game on them, as for the ipad its awfull, if your in the market for a gaming laptop i would check out the ASUS g74 series.. they are hevely speced at a lower price then other heavy duty gaming laptops (like alienware) and has a really good way to get rid of the heat issues that laptops suffers from, hers a link to it http://www.asus.com/Notebooks/Gaming_Po ... ifications it has a 160 SSD disc too witch is awesom. If gaming is the reason you want to buy it, there is no contest. for fiddeling when your in bed or on the buss or on an airplane i would consider a tablet. myself i onley use the tablet to watch movies and read the paper :P

edit. if it is a bit to big with the 17,3 inch screen, the smalleset gaming laptom i have seen is the alienware M11x with its i think 13 inch screen. hers the link http://www.dell.com/us/p/alienware-m11x-r3/pd.aspx
I would avoid Fiona like the plague if I were you, I've heard it weighs a lot, battery life is very poor and the twiddle sticks make it bulky to use as a portable tablet device. In my eyes they shouldn't have put the twiddle sticks in because it not only looks incredibly silly, but nearly everyone that purchases the device will mainly be using it for PC games- and thus require a bulky keyboard ect. Why they didn't just include this with a fold out keyboard I'll never know.

Seems like they totally missed their market on this one I'm afraid. A device aimed at console gamers, which can only play PC games and terrible Xbox Ports, with low battery life.. no thankyou.
