I always knew Tex really lived in outer space! I just knew it!
There used to be a similar glitch in UAKM in Rusty's fun house if you waked through the corner that had the TV set in the wall.

Clipping bugs of this nature are common in the TM games. I once got stuck between the skeleton and the fire alarm in the morgue in Pandora. I was desperately clicking all over the place and tapping the space bar to free myself and all the time Tex was going "Well, that won't work." "That doesn't seem to do anything." I gave up in the end an reloaded my last save.

That's hilarious!

I know just how that feels (but when I'm actually in the environment and trying to remember what to do next).

I'll admit, I've gotten tex lost on the case before, but this is a whole new level. It's always really interesting when you find a bug and get to play around with it. There was a really interesting bug in the second Metroid Prime that allowed you to skip a rather hard, back and forth part of the game that was similar.
