Fire Academy in June

I've been accepted for June. Assuming I survive 12 weeks of simulated fires and book learning, I'll then have to take an EMT course which means taking a few ambulance rides and working in a ER. After that, I see if anybody wants a probie.

Wish me luck!
Good luck, Vance!
Truly yours,
Alexander.

Best to you, Vance. Everyone appreciates those EM Techs who work so hard to save lives (firemen too!).
"If you look to me for illumination, you better have a flashlight!"
Good Luck!

As a paramedic for over 7 years, all I can say is that the training is hard, the work is hard and some of the experiences are not easy, but there is no more rewarding accomplishment then saving a life!

Enjoy the training

Tex: "Uh... math."

I can relate to that..... :)
Alex, thank you. Jim, thank you. Givati, I do figure it'll all be worth it the day I make my first grab, yeah.

I have to get paramedic certification within two years of getting a post on a truck, so I'll be right there with you eventually.
