I am sure most of you heard about the riots in London Ontario Canada on St Patrick's day as it made international news all over the world.
All I have to say is I am appalled at this..... What an embarrassment.......... I am embarrassed to say that I even attended the same college that the students were from.
I was a pretty big partyer in college, but I never did anything like this. Heck... there was a smaller incident, when I was in college myself, in the same area.... I went there to go see it, saw the riot gear and tear gas come out and found my way inside a house as quickly as I could. The incident broke up pretty quickly back then... it seems like the next generation just got stupider or something.
Anyway, here are some videos of the incident should you haven't seen any yet and yes...... that was an explosion you saw in the vidoes..... They destroyed a news van by hitting it with fence boards, then they flipped it and lit it on fire and it blew.

Sorry to hear that. We had some widescale rioting in the UK last year, it started in London as a protest and spread to other cities (one drawback of social media I guess) quickly descending into smashing shops and looting. It did make you feel rather ashamed and fearful for awhile. But after the damage people in the community bandied together to do a cleanup (one of the plusses of social media) amongst other generous things.

I was there when the big riot happened over the EU, luckily we were on a bus outta there when they rushed the Colosseum. The prior day I was in the street where the rioting took place having photos. Was insane seeing it.

Its such a shame because a week prior the place was so nice and peaceful. I really enjoyed Rome up until that.
