Our plan is to have a "casual" and a "true adventure" option at the start of the game. This will allow us to provide an easier path through for those who are not hard-core players -- while allowing our 'true adventure' path to be uncompromised (and by uncompromised we mean classic Sierra-style puzzles)

The whole idea of posting a new topic is because that thread IS about what the subject is... No need to have a thread all mixed up with different topics...

my voice just, if you can't find an existing topic that's relevant to what you want to talk about, please feel free to start a new topic! My comment about clearing out clutter in the This place has become less sticky thread was just in reference to some topics that I previously designated as important (i.e. I made them "sticky") that are now outdated, not that I thought the message board is too cluttered. On the contrary, I think it showcases that Tex Murphy fans are an active community. We're glad to have you as a part of it!
I enjoy the vast quantity of topics and comments the message board has to offer... And the freedom to create any topic one wishes is what makes this place all the more homey...

it`s more about self-control and such. you have freedom to buy everything under $100, for example, and place it everywhere you want at your home. but you don`t, right? becouse it would be a mess

I think the posters here have incredible self control especially when you look at other message boards where people post thread after thread of the same thing just because they feel they are more important and their thread deserves it's own link in the forum instead of them just posting in the thread that was already started... Some threads go stale quickly while others thrive for awhile, but that doesn't mean any should be deleted...
This message board has been running for years just the way it is and you are the first person I think that has ever complained about it... Granted people have complained about individual posters from time to time, but no one has complained about the message board or the way it is set up or managed... In fact it ran with just James in control until about a year ago he decided to give a select couple of people higher function...
How each person organizes their home/living space is irrelevant to the discussion at hand... What one considers messy another might not {like this message board, you find it messy, I do not}... It's like the old saying "One Man's Trash Is Another Man's Treasure"...
You're welcome to your opinion of course, but I love this place the way it is... I enjoy seeing people bring back old topics for fresh opinions from time to time...
I'm sorry you find the message board here a mess, but I don't think you'll end up with many on your side in regards to changing it...
You are fairly new to the community, hopefully you'll get use to the way things are here... From what I've seen of your posts so far you are a great addition to the boards, I do hope the differences of opinions do not dissuade you from continuing to contribute...
