Wishful thinking time... Actors/Actresses?
Figuring in mega funding happening, who would your dream cast be in the new Tex... Favorite actors/Actresses you think would fit well into the Tex Universe.
Personally I'd love to see Felicia Day in it. Partially because I'd watch her act in anything, but also I think she'd be fit in nicely no matter what part she played. She did good playing dark in the Dollhouse Finales and has been wonderful playing awkward in The Guild seasons. She'd also look the part in the film noir style of outfits that the series is known to have.
What dream cast members do the rest of you have?

As long as Chris is Tex, Suzanne is Chelsee, and Doug is Rook, I’ll be happy.
It will be cool if the others from Chandler Avenue can return too with the same actors. Unless Fedora raises money in the millions, big name actors shouldn’t be contacted.
But if it does raise millions of dollars, I think J. K. Simmons (from Spiderman, Juno, Postal, and Portal 2) would be great as a police officer or detective.

When I thought of this I figured Project Fedora was not going to get the kind of cash that Double Fine Adventure got, it was just meant as a fun what-if sort of game.Mr. Fedora wrote:But if it does raise millions of dollars, I think J. It doesn't have to be some big name actor (IE expensive) either, I was thinking someone akin to how Clint Howard was in UAKM.
As for J.K. Simmons, that would be rather brilliant casting. Tex will likely still need some kind of foil in the NSFPD with Mac Malden and someone like J.K. would play a part like that nicely.
Fun question!
Hmm, Billy Zane might make a good bad guy, and he'd probably be within their budget.
Rose McGowan has that retro look to make a good client.
Morena Baccarin also a good client.
Don't know much about this actress, but definitely a retro look:
Rooney Mara http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1913734/
David Hewlett (from Stargate series) for a scientist type. (please oh pretty please!!
)
Oded Fehr can play many types (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0004912/)
Michael Clark Duncan (The Green Mile)
Thomas Jane (Keen Eddie) http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0005048/ (although, he looks pretty busy)
John Barrowman (Torchwood/Dr. Who) http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0057882/
And of course, Mickey Rouke as a mutant

There's some really good choices in here.
Morena Baccarin would be good, as would her firefly crewmate Jewel Staite.
David Hewlett would fit really well with the more humorous side of the Tex series.
I also love the idea of Stephen Root in the series. He's a sadly underutilized actor who could play almost any part Aaron and Chris gave him.
As for James Earl Jones, It would be interesting (and almost bookendy) for him to reprise the role of God, but I don't know, I'm just not sure the series needs it.
A bunch of great ideas all around. I could also see Alison Brie (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1555340/) playing a client/damsel in the game. She's going to have some free time with Community winding down, but she's still in Mad Men so who knows...

TV actors would be good this time around. In my order of Most Wanted:
Bruce Campbell (Needs more video game credits, helped make tachyon: The Fringe one of the best space sims ever.)
Ben Browder(formerly of Farscape, soon to be seen playing another detective in the future, Nick Naught in the web series Naught For Hire)
"The Golden Age of Technology ended the day they started putting talking chips in rectal thermometers."
Mark Hamill (yeah, he's mostly a voice guy these days but he's still fun to see on TV, a la ep 1 of the last season of Chuck)

If this were to happen, I'd want him to a random person in a bar, talking about the good old days when he fought in the space fleet against the evil cats. (It would have to be vague or else EA might sue) But that's just because I can't see him in a PC game as anyone but Colonel Christopher Blair. Also it would be a hilarious Easter Egg for anyone who'd played Wing Commander.
