We've talked about it around here, but I think the Kickstarter video is awesome enough to warrant its own thread. Even if the Kickstarter doesn't work, or if CJ quits to run for mayor, or AC quits for a modeling career, we'll still have this 8 min. of heaven (or limbo, more like).

So, about the video...

--Tex is now overtly aware that he's not real. Whooooaaa... duuuuuude

--In the previous Texverse, there aren't a lot of people under 40 or 30. It fits noir, but it's also kind of odd-- think about it. So I liked seeing some young folks here, and I hope we see them in the game in other roles. I believe they are people CJ knows. Which is adorable. :-3

--So Tex will be trapped in some bizarre limbo diner forever if the Kickstarter doesn't succeed? Well rub salt in the wound why doncha! Well... I suppose it's at least a place where things literally can not ever get worser.

--I am going to try to work the phrase "Hat in Hand Time" into my vocab

As I've stated on a previous post, I tried to be as accurate as I could, but there were some words I didn't quite understand so I just completed the phrase with what seemed to make more sense (if anyone spots my errors I will promptly fix the captions)

The video contains both English and Brazilian Portuguese captions (not perfect, but should be enough to help broaden the public reached by the video...well, hopefully).

WOW! That high res does make a big difference. Thanks for linking that here. I really like the James Dean character, he did a fantastic job.

Hi hgorni, about to make a thread for the English subtitles I created, will PM you with it when up. Sorry for the delay. Took longer than expected as wanted to get it double-triple-etc. checked Some of it (like the song lyrics etc.) are personal interpretation but should read OK based on feedback.

I hooked the video up on my TV; it looked pretty sweet. I love high def Tex.

I like the James Dean guy, too. He must be in the game !

I know! He looks like he belongs in a rock band. And if he is who I think he is, he may actually be in one: Mason Jones And The Get Togethers. And if my further deductions are correct, CJ might be able to get him for a very low price

His twitter is right there on his MySpace page. I say go ahead and follow-- the more followers on Twitter you have, the cooler you look, so it would probably help him out.
