Anybody re watching the show?

I am since the 5th and final season is starting on July 15th.

I am quite pissed that they are splitting it.

They might as well call it season 5 and 6 and make them mini seasons like season 1.

Summer 2012 and then we have to wait until Summer 2013???

WTF!!!

The board is flooded with Project Fedora stuff and Kickstarter Stuff, so I thought I would post something different.

I have been curious as to the whereabouts of this show. Its been gone for quite some time! Oddly enough I have been dabbling in the earlier seasons recently. The show is pretty intense though. I cant handle marathon after marathon of it. Its just too real and dark. Love it to death though! Cant wait for next season!
who cares what's on television , I can only think of tex .

I'm looking forward to Breaking Bad. I'd actually never seen the show until about a year ago, which was probably blasphemy considering I live where it's filmed. I was actually out for a run on the trails on the east side of the Sandia Mountains a few days ago and they were filming again for Breaking Bad (the DEA agent's house is right up the street from where my parents live). I'm not sure when I'll get to see it though, I watch all the episodes on streaming Netflix through my PS3 (I don't have anything above basic cable).

Mmmm. Judging by your signature, you seem to be another Nails fan. I like you automatically. Unless of course it's just coincidence. In which case, I still like you. Maybe because of the cat avatar. But mostly because of the nails lyrics.

At any rate, to join in, I haven't even watched a single episode of Breaking Bad, but it's on my to-do list. Everyone keeps telling me it is an awesome series. It's hard for me to devote time to a TV series, because when you do, usually it means you've got a LOT of episodes to watch my ADD just doesn't allow for it much anymore.

The only TV shows I've watched front to back were The X-files, and all the Star Trek's ... original series, next generation, voyager, deep space nine (My favorite ... never understood all the hate for that one), and Enterprise. I stopped somewhere in season 3 on enterprise, but it only went up to 4 seasons before it was canceled. I just had a hard time getting into the whole Xindi storyline.

If I can ever break myself away from my current hobby, I might give it a shot. (breaking bad I mean) ... right now, I've been watching every monday night raw and monday night nitro from 96 to 2001, including pay per views. Back when wrestling was fun to watch. Ahhh ...

judging by your recent sincere story in another thread, i like you too. because you`re completely clean and sober now, just like trent, you know
but mostly, because you said that you liked me (and `cause nin fans should like each other)

Yes, we should. Glad to see someone on here that appreciates that man's talent as much I do. To be honest, in some of my roughest places, it was his tunes that carried me through. Even though I believe Trent said he's not too fond of it himself, "The Perfect Drug" got a lot of playtime after my father past.

The lyrics, although I know meant something entirely different, had such a profound meaning for me. "Without you ... without you everything falls apart. Without you ... it's not a lot of fun to pick up the pieces .. " brought me to tears every time.

Peace :-)

that song and its outro are one of my favorites
also i used to sing "the becoming" in the shower years ago...

btw, it`s rob sheridan (tweets in his twitter, actually), who`s got me interested in breaking bad

Hahaha that's funny. I used to sing that song loud to make my mother mad. Especially the "won't give up, he wants me dead" part.

My mother and I have since reconciled, but THAT is a good remix. There aren't too many remixes Reznor was involved with that I disliked, to be honest. My favorite remix ever was the "Capital G" one I had on of of his remix CD's that was released a few years back.

This whole conversation has me breaking out my old NIN halo's to listen to. :-)

I think my favorite song is a tie. I could never decide between the two, but my favorites are the David Bowie and Trent single "I'm Afraid of Americans" and "And all that could have been" off the live album on the companion CD. The video for the Bowie song is awesome. I'm sure you've seen it, but here is a link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=slKNd22G ... re=related

Man, didn't mean to jack the thread, but cool to talk some NIN. I haven't really listened to a lot of music here recently if it wasn't apart of the current game soundtrack I've been playing. (which is currently mass effect 2 ... I bought 3 too, but I want to finish out my saved game to import) Gonna start with Pretty Hate Machine, and play through em all today.

cool to talk some NIN
yeah, i often feel myself the only one in the city who listens nin, so i`m also glad to talk some NIN
offtop for sure, but... since we're waiting for Season 5 of Breaking Bad anyway

"i`m afraid of americans" is great (even my girlfriend likes it!) - trent is a [fun] weirdo in that video

and aatchb from "still" is perfect for small periodic depressions... made my eyes a little wet once... or twice
"leaving hope" is also - very powerful emotionally and brutally beautiful
