Everyone needs a place like the Brew and Stew...

For the most part, there is always that local joint that seems to be the local heart of the neighborhood where you can get together, get a pretty good bite to eat, socialize, and a damn good cup of coffee.
Part of gave Tex Murphy its charm was Louie and the Brew & Stew as we all knew a local spot like that at one time or another. Whether it was a greasy spoon diner, a hole in the wall pub, or a off the beaten track coffee shop.
For me, it's a local burger place called Val's. They don't do a lamb chili like Louie's, but they make a damn fine hamburger and the best damn milk shake you will ever have. It's been there since the early 60's, and the only changes they've made is the prices. On a Friday or Saturday night it is nigh impossible to find a seat, and the parking requires you to be very alert.
So, all you Tex Head's, tell us about your Louie's.
