Boy I hate the weather here the last few days. I finally was able to lay my hands on an air conditioner right before the 102 degree weather hit, but then a few days later we get hit with a storm that knocked the power out all night. So it finally comes back on in the morning, and then lo and behold .. storm number 2 ... blew trees down, tore up my air conditioner, took the power out again, and now it's 100 degrees again. It's not fair to do that to poor people God.

The news here in the UK are saying its one of the worst summers ever so far here with being wet, overcast, windy and miserable. Some areas have had terrible flooding. There have been a few odd thunderstorms and showers that come down sharp and heavy then stop suddenly in a very erratic way. Some days have seen some decent sun here but not without the threat of showers. This tends to be the time of year where there are a lot of outdoor events and festivals but with the weather they could be cancelled. I wouldn't want it to be too blazing here, but warm and sunny with a gentle breeze would be great. When it does get warm the air kind of feels 'close' or muggy due to the moisture at the moment. Still got the rest of July and August so maybe it will look up.
I know that in America its been so dry there's been terible fires and I wish we could transfer some of our wetness and colder temperatures over there to help

I don't have an air conditioner but just some fans. But this is UK so... Though when it does get blazing hot here it would be nice to have.
