Sims 3 Supernatural or otherwise known as the "day job".

Pretty cool. I am SO looking forward to this installment. I will of course burn and stab and otherwise obliterate any idiotic "sparkly" vampires. But make your own Zombie Apocalypse? I'm there dude.
Also this.

The video starts at the 8 minute mark or so, and the sound guy needs a swift kick, but good info!

My wife loves the Sims too.
You see they are releasing Seasons!
She has been waiting for that one for a while.
She is excited about the umbrellas and fun seasonal activities....
I always just thought she was remembering her childhood when she played the game.
Barbies on the computer essentially.
It is still addictive in a weird kinda way...
I am guilty of playing it once in a while, although, more in passing.... not for hrs on end like her.

All you'd really need is a trench coat-wearin', fedora-sportin' sim character voiced by Chris Jones. And who wouldn't pay to hear CJ ramble on in Simsian gibberish? It's Path C, drunken Tex every time, all the time.

Pirates, vampires, zombies, ninjas, ghouls, aliens, goblins, monsters, robots, sorcerers, undead, werewolves, demons, mutated dinosaur-cyborgs and those pesky phone salesmen! The shotgun is a one-size-fits-all solution!
Tex Murphy is there already in spirit since you can be a Private Investigator in The Sims as a career choice. Rooting through trash cans, questioning other Sims, breaking into houses to search for clues, going to the police station for picking up odd jobs.
I haven't played it myself but watched others. I found Sims 1 boring but Sims 3 looks like it could get addictive since there's so much to do in it now (in Sims 1 they'd go to work during the day and you couldn't follow them, now you can or even play the job too like ghost hunting) and its more fun since theres a lot less micro-management (in Sims 1 they couldn't seem to do anything without you telling them) so I am trying not to get caught up in it haha.

I really enjoy busting out the Sims 3! And I think Supernatural is right up my alley. When I play the Sims it always in the mindset of "what if???"
Sai you are right, there is TONS of things to do, stuff I couldn't even guess could happen in the game until I did a little online digging.
So Supernatural with the Fairies and their little fairy house, the Fortune Teller (legit or con), making hybrid supernatural creatures and of course Zombies, will get quite a bit of my "What if? I wonder.... time."

I love the Sims, but man, it is an incredibly time consuming game! There are just not enough hours in the day to play it. Not sure how others played it, but I mostly spent all of my time building, decorating and designing my Sims. Not as much time playing with them. LOL! I do greatly enjoy the Sims background music. It's very chill and relaxing. One game that was incredibly addicting was The Sims Castaway on the Nintendo DS. I think I stayed up for almost 24 hours playing that when I first got it.
