Well, I just had my 21st birthday party the night before last... it was an absolute blast!

Now I have not got all the pics back from the Film Noir party yet, but I did however manage to score this shot of the cake:

Nope, your eyes are not foolin'! That's a Tex Murphy birthday cake, printed especially!

I will post up some more pics from the party when I get them together.

Now, my actual birthday is the 25th of January, and to celebrate on the day, we are doing drinks and cigars. Now here in Australia you can drink and smoke at 18, but even so; a special occasion calls for some special items:

Now for those of you fairly seasoned connoisseurs of fine alcohols, you will notice the Glenfiddich Special Reserve, Galliano Sambuca Black, and the piece de resistance! ...MOET Vintage 1995 Chandon Cuvee Dom Perignon ...which retails for a humble $200 in the United States nowadays... which is around $275 for us Aussies! 8)

Also find 5 Guantanamera Cuban cigars. :D (mind you, they were a gift, I ran out of my Montecristos at the party, and my friend won't lend me another Romeo y Julieta!)

But, as I have said, I have been drinking and smoking socially since I turned 18... but now it's time to bring out the big guns!

Needless to say, THIS is called spoiling one's self to no end!

Cheers all! I will down one for the UTM board and all my fellow members on Wednesday!!

Happy Birthday!
WoW! That cake is the coolest thing I've seen this year! I mean granted ... we're still in the first month, but wow! A tex murphy birthday cake. I'm forever jealous. Happy 21st!
I'm not fat ... I'm festively plump.
HOLY COW !!!!!!
HOLY COW !!!!!!

I am totally blown away. That cake is AWESOME!!!!
That is taking it in style. I will toast a more modest drink to you!!! (That Glenfiddich looks mighty nice, but I think it's about 80 bucks a bottle out here.)
HAPPY EARLY 21st B-DAY!!!

Happy Birthday bud.

Did u also know that the Glenfiddich is also the prefered drink of Inspector Morse writen by Colin Dexter.

Oh yeah i know MOET label verry wel i have been to the place in france where it is made. (Needless to say i had to brind back bottles for my mom and others when i told them i was going there.)

I think the goverment could settle all dets if they owned the compeny. I think there is about a biljon in cash lying in those cellers just waiting to mature and to be sold.

PS this is the bottle i had several of when i came home too bad u can only fit so many in a bag hahaha.

It is a Moet et Chandon Vintage Rose

Wow @ the vintage Rosé !

1999 it appears. Come 10 years time that will be worth almost $600  ...and I ain't joking.

And Jen, good to see you joining in! Even with the same cigars.

Many thanks for the well wishes folks.

Cubase, how did you drink whiskey? With soda?
Truly yours,

Depends on the occasion... if I want a light, easy going festive drink with friends I might have it with 'soda'. I tend to like a Canadian Club + Dry which is Canadian Club & Dry Ginger Ale.

But if I am partying hard with some friends or playing some intense drinking games (which usualy land me with less clothes on as usual  ) I will most likely shoot the alcohol straight up.

Absinthe is usualy a favourite amoungst us all... it also happens to be the strongest legal alcohol available to us.

Oh my Lord, that is an amazing cake. You are officially the envy of nearly everyone here, I believe.

I got a bottle of Southern Comfort Bourbon and a cigarette inside a fedora from my parents on my 21st. They know the PI Breakfast.
That cake is the coolest thing I have ever seen. If it was handed to me, I wouldn't let anyone cut into it. Happy 21st Cub! Later.
