Nice. It's a good idea for them to still be thinking about press to draw more interest in and keep momentum outside backers between the Kickstarter and the release so as to improve sales.

Saw your BFG forum post Hank. Thanks again. If you find out what time, please update the post. I'll do the same.

I wish they could have done a better job locking down the time instead of doing it the same day as the Podcast...

So, one bit of an update from the Podcast tonight. They are shooting for an August/September release! (Of course, providing everything stays on schedule.) :-D

As long as they don't pull a Duke Nukem Forever and tell us "When It's Done", i'm happy. Honestly, even if the product doesn't arrive until 2014, i'll take comfort in the fact that it's been done with the intention of giving fans the best quality of gaming experience they feel we all deserve.

Missed the Podcast, kind of had a feeling I would... 6pm just wasn't doable, especially last might like this... These things need to be better organized...

Anyway, even with knowing that they think 10-12 months, I'm stilling holding onto my 2014 theory... I mean unless they are working like 15 hour days, 7 days a week, I just don't see it getting done that soon... Not at the magnitude they've led us to believe this game is gonna be...

Maybe I'm just holding my hopes too high, but I was under the impression that we were going to be seeing a game Bigger and Better than Pandora, I just don't see it being ready in a year... Hey if it is, I'll happily play it, I just think it is going to take a bit longer than that...

But it's great to hear that things are moving at, what they apparently feel is, a pleasant pace...

I think there will be at least one delay.

Great games always have at least one for polishing.

I say last quarter of 2013, first quarter of 2014.

And Blizzard is the only company that has ever successfully pulled off the when it is done scenario.

I selfishly am happy for a 2014 launch so I can save enough for my next computer :)

I am earnestly hoping for a 2013 release. Every year that goes by I'm getting older, quickly. I don't want to be too old to play it.

I know. I've gotten gray hairs now after all this time waiting.

Well Chris said August or September of next year during the podcast but yeah, something unexpected is bound to come up. I'd be happy with a December release which would be the best time to get away and travel to Salt Lake City for the release party! Really don't see it going all the way into 2014 since they don't have the engine development issues to work with this time around.

Was an excellent podcast, and they said maybe more with other Project Fedora crew in the future!
